At DealLooto (the "Site"), the privacy of our visitors is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to register or to submit any personal information to read this Site. We may collect non-personal, aggregate information automatically through standard web technologies, including:

  • Log data - like most websites, our hosting provider records standard log information such as your IP address, browser type, approximate location, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Cookies - small files stored by your browser. We and our service providers (see below) may use cookies to understand traffic and improve the Site.

Hosting and infrastructure

This Site is built and hosted on Cloudflare Workers, with its content stored in Cloudflare's D1 database. Cloudflare acts as our hosting provider and content delivery network, which means it processes every request to this Site and may retain standard server logs for security and performance purposes. Product images on this Site are delivered through ImageKit, an image content delivery network. Loading an image sends your IP address and browser details to that provider, as it would with any externally hosted image.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools, both only to understand how the Site is used in aggregate:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics - privacy-focused and cookieless. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track people across sites.
  • Google Analytics - which does set cookies. The data we see is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies as described below. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Browser notifications

If you choose to turn on deal alerts, your browser gives us a push subscription - a unique address for your browser provided by your browser vendor (for example Google, Mozilla or Apple), along with the keys needed to encrypt messages to it. We store this so we can send you an alert when a big deal drops.

This subscription is not linked to your name or email, and we never ask you for either. We use it only to send deal notifications; we do not sell or share it.

You can turn alerts off at any time by tapping the bell button on the Site, or through your browser's notification settings for this site. Doing so removes the subscription, and any alert we try to send afterwards is automatically discarded.

Some links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click them and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Controlling your cookies

You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not stop you from using the Site, though some features may behave differently.

Children's privacy

This Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
