Tata Neu HDFC Card New "Hurdle" for Rewards

Got an email from Tata Neu about the HDFC credit card. It feels like they are just making it harder for us to actually get our rewards. Instead of NeuCoins getting automatically added to our accounts like always have, we now have to manually log into the app and hit claim. According to the email, we have 12 months from our statement date to claim them, and then another 12 months to spend them. They are trying to spin this as giving us "more flexibility," but it’s just an extra hurdle. They are probably just hoping people forget to log in and claim them so they don't have to pay out the points. Just a heads-up for anyone else using this card: make sure you set a monthly reminder to sweep your coins into your account so you don’t lose what you earned! Has anyone else gotten this email yet?
